An antique market like no other

Antique and Vintage Shopping—Perfected

The Hill Antique Market opened in 2019, and we’ve already expanded twice! We host 75+ seasoned vendors and artisans who provide a unique vintage shopping experience in St. Louis. We’re located in an artfully renovated warehouse featuring brick walls, soaring rafters and cool skylights. Visitors rave about the many creative vendor spaces showcasing a wide variety of merchandise ranging from collectibles to rare antiques and contemporary artisan works. You’ll also appreciate our helpful staff, listener-friendly music, modern restrooms and onsite café. We host special sales and events throughout the year.

We’re the newest addition to the St. Louis antiquing scene, and we’re passionate about building on old traditions while setting new standards.

You might discover a Mid-Century Modern sofa for your new apartment, (finally!) find that long lost record album or happen upon the exact same dog figurine you’ve always admired on Grandma’s bookshelf. That ’50s argyle sweater? It’s here, too! We’re confident you’ll find something to love.

Vendors refresh merchandise daily, so plan to score a wonderful treasure every time you visit.

REIMAGINING VINTAGE

Meet the Founders

Mark Erker and Carleen Kramer never imagined getting into the antiques business. After all, they had other jobs, demanding roles as owner and marketing/sales director, respectively, of Catering St. Louis Events. In 2019, however, they bought a historic warehouse building in the historic Hill neighborhood of St. Louis. As they talked about how to restore it, they surprised even themselves by reimagining it as an antiques market filled with vendors who specialize in high quality vintage wares. Well, why not? After years of creating welcoming event spaces, they’d visited plenty of antique shops around the country scouting period furniture and vintage decor. This was not a question of starting out cold; in fact, operating an antiques market was the perfect next venture.

Longtime residents of The Hill, Mark and Carleen are thrilled to give visitors a reason to come to the neighborhood and support the local economy. Since opening The Hill Antique Market, they’ve expanded the space several times and already have plans for even more growth, pop-up sales and fun events throughout the year. In Mark’s words, “We appreciate the opportunity to preserve the neighborhood while also giving people an exciting place to visit. We strive to ensure a variety of quality vendors and merchandise so there is truly something for everyone in The Hill Antique Market.”
